Pineapple Support Announces Board and Leadership Changes to Advance Mission and Global Impact

Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, today announced leadership changes to support the organization’s growing needs and expand its global impact across the industry. Founder and CEO Leya Tanit established Pineapple Support to address the lack of stigma-free mental health services for the adult industry. These board-approved changes reflect the organization’s continued evolution as it expands the care it provides, strengthens corporate governance, and further establishes itself as a leading advocate for the industry.

The organization announced the appointment of Jean-Micheal Veen, CEO of F2F.com, to the board and as Technology and Development Chair. “Jean-Micheal is passionate about the work we do and brings both technical and operational expertise,” said Leya Tanit. “As Pineapple Support continues to grow, his experience and insight will strengthen the systems needed to provide even more care to the community in the years ahead.”

“At F2F.com, we’ve always believed that building a sustainable platform starts with genuinely caring about the people on it. Supporting Pineapple Support was therefore a logical step for us from the start. Joining the board is a commitment to go further. My focus will be on expanding access to services and increasing industry participation,” said Jean-Micheal Veen. “Mental health is a non-negotiable standard, not an afterthought. Pineapple Support is leading that charge, and I’m proud to help drive it.”

Board Member Brad Mitchell, President of MojoHost and a respected 26-year veteran of the adult industry, will serve as President. “Brad has served on the board of Pineapple Support since its inception, providing meaningful guidance and support for the past eight years,” said Leya Tanit. “I’m excited to work more closely with Brad in his new role as President, as we continue to expand and advance our mission. This new role reflects the organization’s confidence in his leadership and longstanding commitment to both Pineapple Support and the industry.”

“I am incredibly proud of what Pineapple Support has accomplished, honored to accept this role, and excited to help expand its ability to reach and support more lives,” said Brad Mitchell. “When you meet people whose lives have been saved, as I have, it stays with you forever. I am deeply grateful to my predecessor, Alison Boden, for her selfless hard work and dedication throughout her tenure. I will continue building on that legacy in a way that would make her proud.”

Pineapple Support also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Michelle Marriott for her dedicated service as Community Outreach Chair. Michelle’s commitment and tireless efforts have played a meaningful role in sustaining and growing the organization’s ability to provide care to those who need it most. We are deeply grateful for her time and contributions, and wish her well in her next chapter.

“Pineapple Support has grown into an organization the industry depends on and recognizes as essential,” said Leya Tanit. “As the need for accessible, stigma-free mental health support continues to grow, we are committed to meeting this challenge by serving the community responsibly and effectively. The leadership team and board we have in place today are strong, and I’m incredibly excited about what we will accomplish together moving forward.”

Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 20,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.

Kellie Marsh Joins Pineapple Support as Operations, Logistics Community Chair

Pineapple Support has announced the appointment of Kellie Marsh as Operations and Logistics Community Chair.

Marsh succeeds Lane Farin, who recently stepped down as Vice President and Company Secretary.

“The wonderful Lane Farin is leaving the team at Pineapple Support and we want to extend our gratitude for everything she’s done for the organization,” Founder Leya Tanit said. “Although we are very sad to say goodbye to a crucial member of our team, we are extremely excited to welcome Kellie Marsh to the Pineapple Support board.”

Marsh described herself as “beyond happy” to step into her new role.

“I’ve known Leya for over 20 years and have been involved in Pineapple Support since the very beginning as VP and board member of the U.K. charity,” she said. “I’m proud to be part of such an incredible industry and look forward to playing my part in helping to ensure low-cost and stigma-free support for all performers.”

Marsh will take over “many of Lane’s day-to-day operations in the organization and will be the new point of contact for all things finance-related,” noted Tanit.

“Kellie will be implementing a number of new operating procedures and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition period,” she added. “On behalf of myself and the team at Pineapple Support, we would like to extend a huge thank you for your support and for enabling us to continue providing these much-needed services.”
