Pineapple Support To Host One-Day Wellness Event – Safety, Stability, and Self-Love

Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health non-profit, will host a one-day wellness event focused on safety, stability, and self-love. The event, sponsored by Sextpanther, Sexyjobs, and Stripchat will take place online on August 24th, from 11AM to 4PM PST.

 

The event will include presentations, classes, and discussions led by Pineapple Support therapists, including:

“Inspiring healthy relationships with yourself and others comes with challenges, particularly when it comes to intimacy,” says Pineapple Support founder and CEO, Leya Tanit. “Creating a stable personal environment and dealing with life’s uncertainties in an appropriate and effective manner is essential to happiness and fulfilment.”

 

Tanit founded Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 10,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.

Pineapple Support To Host Two-Day “Sex and Self” Wellness Event

Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, will host a two-day wellness event featuring a range of workshops and panels from sexual wellness experts. The “Sex and Self” event, which is free for adult performers, will take place online on July 20th and 21st, starting at 10 am PST.

Pineapple Support, Chaturbate Partner on ‘Malibu Wellness Retreat’

 

Pineapple Support will host a free daylong wellness retreat in Malibu, sponsored by Chaturbate, Monday, Jan. 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (PST).

The event is described by a rep as “perfect relax-and-reset experience to balance your body and mind after the excitement of the XBIZ ShowX3 and the XBIZ Awards. Unplug from your busy daily life and recalibrate the mind and body for a day of relaxation surrounded by nature at our exclusive Malibu wellness retreat.”

A schedule of activities designed to help attendees unwind includes breathwork, yoga, a sexual wellness seminar, massage, tarot, facials and a sunset sound bath.

Pineapple Support to Host Mental Health Summit This Week

Pineapple Support will host its third annual Mental Health Online Summit on Thursday and Friday this week starting at 10 a.m. (PST).

The theme is “Security in an Uncertain World,” which will cover the topics of resilience, support, security and planning for the future; the event is free and will take place entirely online via Zoom.

Friday’s panels and presentations coincide with the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.

Pineapple Support to Host Roundtable Discussion With European Industry Orgs

Pineapple Support will host a free, online roundtable discussion with leading European organizations that provide resources to the adult industry, sponsored by AdultWork and XBIZ.

The event will take place via Zoom on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. (GMT).

The “Community Collaboration UK” roundtable discussion is free for members of the adult industry and will feature representatives from London-based sexual health clinic 56 Dean Street, FSC Europe and nonprofit community interest company Support Network for Adult Professionals (SNAP).

Pineapple Support to Hold 3-Day ‘Healing Through Kink’ Workshop

Pineapple Support has announced a three-day event, “Healing Through Kink,” focusing on the benefits and psychology behind BDSM and fetish.

The event will take place online April 27- 29 and is free for adult performers.

“Kink can be seen as a sensual, intimate and powerful somatic practice which many people find healing,” said Leya Tanit, founder and president of Pineapple Support.

“There is strength in being able to reclaim parts of your sexuality that have been buried or feel shame-fueled from past trauma,” Tanit added, inviting performers to “join us on this journey, while we discover how being a part of the kink and BDSM lifestyle can affect mental health and possibly help persons heal from past trauma.”

Pineapple Support, FanCentro to Host ‘Virtual Happiness Retreat’ Thursday

Pineapple Support and FanCentro’s Centro University will host a free all-day virtual event for sex workers and adult industry performers Thursday, starting at 11 a.m. (PDT), with a focus on mental health and wellness.

Seven virtual webinars will include “live exercises, presentations and interactive workshops from Pineapple Support therapists, as well as sessions from leading counselors, coaches and performers in the industry,” explained a rep.

Virtual Wellness Event For Adult Performers In The UK

Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health non-profit, together with sponsors AdultWork and AWSummit, will be holding an online wellness event specifically aimed at the adult industry in the UK. The three-day event, which will be held from September 23-25, will include live workshops and interactive webinars from Pineapple Support therapists, as well activities such as breathwork, meditation and workouts.  

“We’re really excited to bring this event to the UK,” says Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. “We’ll be focusing on self-care, mental and physical well-being and education. There will be presentations from UK-based organizations NUM and Dean Street, as well as legal information from sex worker-postive law firm Gillen De Alwis Solicitors. To top it all off, the event will end with five hours of comedy and music to get  feet moving and faces smiling.”
