Ms. Koop earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2018 from the CACREP-accredited program at Lincoln Memorial University. Ms. Koop also received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2014 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Her training, as well as hours for licensure, have been in forensically informed private practices that treat adults and adolescents.
Ms. Koop is a fully licensed, forensically informed provider offering individual, group, couple’s, and family therapy to adults and adolescents. Ms. Koop’s areas of specialization include sexuality, LGBTQ+ concerns, spirituality, depression, anxiety, and grief. Ms. Koop incorporates best practice guidelines, assessment, and current research in all treatments. Whether that is helping an individual with sexual behavior concerns or a family cope with divorce, Ms. Koop is motivated by her work.
