My name is Gillian Hadlock. I am a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience. I know that life can sometimes feel challenging and I applaud your courage in reaching out for help. We’ll figure out what’s working well and what’s not working, and I’ll give you tough love when necessary. I use mainly evidence-based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, addiction, and relationship/intimacy issues. I also have experience treating depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and a vast array of concerns. I have worked in hospitals, mental health agencies, HIV/AIDS clinics, refugee centers, and more.
I’m here not as a superior, but as a teammate who can offer valuable feedback and help you get momentum in a positive direction. I believe that you are the expert of your own life. I use a holistic approach to mental health treatment and often use different therapeutic techniques to make sure that we address your challenges/concerns as effectively as possible.
