Ambassador
Austin Andrew Ponce, proud Latin American descent from Colombian, former physician by the age of 24 and an active member of the queer community, is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. With three years in the adult entertainment industry, Austin has since gained international recognition, earning nominations at the GRABBYS EUROPE AWARDS and taking part in LGBTQ+ events across the globe. Whether he’s traveling, hitting the gym, or engaging in local LGBTQ+ initiatives back in Colombia, Austin lives with the belief that the world is a unique experience to celebrate and share with everyone around, unapologetically.
“My first steps in the adult industry began through web camming, and it was during that time that I discovered Pineapple Support. From the very beginning, their mission resonated deeply with me. Later, when I traveled to Europe and had the chance to meet the team in person, it truly felt like a dream — finally putting faces to the people working tirelessly to provide accessible mental health care to a community that deeply needs it: adult entertainment performers.
Being invited to collaborate with them was incredibly meaningful for me. I’ve been an advocate for mental health since my teenage years, not only because I believe in its importance, but because I’ve lived it firsthand as a patient. That experience gave me perspective — it helped me understand how unique everyone’s mental health journey is, yet how universal the need for care and support truly is.
Access to mental health services is still far too limited. Many people feel ashamed to ask for help, or simply don’t have access to it at all. That’s why organizations like Pineapple Support are so vital. Their commitment to affordability, inclusivity, and real support aligns deeply with my own values, and I’m proud to contribute to breaking down stigmas and making mental well-being a priority for everyone in our community.”
