I enjoy interacting with clients who are courageous enough to seek counseling. I am passionate about providing an authentic, compassionate foundation to allow clients to get the help they need. Systemic, cultural, or societal expectations might leave you with your head spinning, and I welcome the opportunity to help you investigate ways in which you might control your own destiny.
I intentionally provide a safe, non-judgmental setting for clients to tell their stories. A client-centered, strength-based focus will help you to feel safe and empowered. I also utilize humor and creativity in sessions to help you get the most out of therapy. If you’re struggling with substance use, addiction, or needing extra support through recovery, I have additional training and expertise to help you find the life without substances you always wanted. Together we will set short- and long-term goals that allow you to see your own growth and progress.
I am committed to working from an anti-oppression lens, meaning that I see and acknowledge your unique identity and recognize the impact society has on your daily well-being. Your individuality and diversity will be embraced. I have several years’ experience working with individuals from all walks of life; no matter your cultural, spiritual, gender, or sexual identity, I look forward to co-creating a meaningful and conscientious connection with you.
