Meghan Arroyo, M.A, LMFT
I specialize working with issues related to Sex and Intimacy, Addictions and Trauma. I am passionate about helping sexual minorities, including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+. I am knowledgeable of Kink and welcome alternative lifestyles. Sexuality is an important aspect of the human experience and I offer a safe space to talk about it.
I have several years of experience working with addictions, mood disorders and trauma. I also work with sexual dysfunction, such as: erectile dysfunction, difficulty with orgasm, painful sex, mismatched sex drive among partners, questioning sexuality, gender concerns, sexual trauma, sexual compulsivity, shame and performance anxiety.
I have experience as a Couples therapist, and bring that background to help individual clients navigate their relationships. We all have the human need for connection and intimacy, but sometimes as the result of painful experiences we build walls to keep others at a distance. I can help you tackle these walls and find new ways of relating, achieving a balance of closeness, connection and personal anatomy.
Personally I value a holistic approach to healing, and I welcome incorporating the mind-body connection in my work. We all hold within us the power to heal and become whole; my job is to help you clear what’s blocking you. If you’re looking for a therapist who is non-judgmental, warm and kink-knowlegable, I’d be a good fit for you.
