Has sadness made it difficult to function during the day, or to sleep? Does over thinking and worry make it difficult to function at home or at work? Have concerns about sexuality or sexual functioning with your self or in relationships? Are you a parent to a child who struggles with sadness/anxiety and don’t know what to do or how to support your child? Do you struggle to maintain boundaries with others, especially people who use substances? Do you feel lost, don’t know who you are, nor your place in this world?
If so, I believe I can help. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with you and creating a safe environment is part of what I offer to support you. Expect to be validated, not told what to do, but also challenged. My approach to therapy is compassionate and eclectic. We will work together to facilitate change.
Since 2015, I have worked with pre-teens, at risk youth (in juvenile justice system and foster care), individuals, and parents. Therapy is not a quick fix, rather it is a journey. When you are ready, reach out to me to start your journey towards liberation. I’ll end with a simple quote: “The longest journey is the journey inward.” – Dag Hammarskjold
