She values everyone’s story, rationale, and feelings and provides a place of support regardless of the challenges you may be facing. Amanda has knowledge and experience in areas of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, all forms of abuse and neglect, trauma, adoption, foster care, LGBTQ+ specific needs, pregnancy, infertility, grief, parenting, caregiving, shame/guilt, financial social work, accountability, and adjusting to life changes. She is clinically trained to work with individuals who face mental health diagnoses including, but not limited to depression, postpartum concerns, anxiety, OCD, bipolar, and PTSD.
Amanda Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC. Amanda has her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from New York University.
Sessions will be tailored to meet your unique and specific needs, but the most common modalities utilized in therapy are a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Solution-Focused, Exposure Response, Internal Family Systems, and always Client-Centered Therapeutic techniques.
