What is the cost of Pineapple Support therapy and counselling?
At Pineapple Support you only pay what you can afford, we cover the rest.
Every dollar you contribute is a dollar we can use to help support another performer in need of care, so please, give what you can.
Is my information safe?
At Pineapple Support we understand how important it is to keep your private information private. Your safety is of paramount importance to us, that is why the software we use to collect your personal data is HIPAA compliant and one of the most secure on the market.
Once your data has been submitted you are assigned a code. Pineapple Support and your therapist or counsellor will only ever refer to you as this code. This ensures that even our administration team do not have access to your name or personal details.
Will I be receiving in person therapy?
When possible we will match you with a therapist close to your residence to give the option of in-person therapy. If we do not have a therapist available in your area, you will be connected to a therapist or counsellor who can provide care via an online video platform such as Skype or Zoom, or on some occasions via telephone.
How do I apply for Pineapple Support subsidized therapy?
Applying for Pineapple Support subsidized therapy and counselling is simple. Visit https://pineapplesupport.org/pineapple-support-therapists/ and click the link to complete the online therapy request form.
How long will it take to get connected to a Pineapple Support therapist or counsellor?
At Pineapple Support, we will process your therapy request within three working days. You will be connected with a therapist as soon as we have availability. Currently new requests are being connected within between 1 week and 4 months depending on the level of urgency.
How do I qualify for Pineapple Support subsidzed therapy and counselling?
To qualify for Pineapple Support subsidized therapy and counselling, we ask for proof that you have been active in the adult online entertainment industry for a minimum of 6 months, within the past 6 months. This can be a link to your cam studio, clips store, fan page or social media account.
If after an initial assessment it is deemed that you require in-patient care or a level of care that our service providers are unable to provide, they are required by Pineapple Support policy, the law and the ethical standard to refer you to the appropriate level of care for emergent needs.
