Calixte (she/her) is a relational therapist based in Toronto; she draws from feminist psychodynamic therapy that recognizes how our identities, ways of being with others, mental health and experiences of the world are shaped by social forces, systemic oppression and past wounds. She strives to offer a non-judgemental, trauma-informed space where we are collaborators together, unpacking the threads of attachment, developmental trauma, state and social stigma in order to find a sense of brazen hope and a coming home to self. Calixte works with folks who often find themselves questioning and challenging norms: queer, kinky, ENM/poly, enby/trans, neuro-spicy, sex workers, movement workers and other expansive humans magicking new spaces and imagining bold futures.

Calixte recognizes the expertise and brilliance of sex workers as healers, educators, entrepreneurs, artists, community makers, activists and resourceful workers. She recognizes that colonialist/traditional therapy spaces have often failed to recognize how social injustices shape our access and framing of mental health, and strives to offer an affirming space that encompases a holistic understanding of the socio-political context of our collective wellness.
