Pineapple Support Society
Do not use this Website or any Pineapple Support services for emergency or crisis situations.
If you are in immediate danger, thinking about suicide, or considering actions that may cause harm to you or to others, you must contact emergency services right away.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency:
Call your local emergency number immediately (for example, 911 in the United States or 112 in parts of Europe), or
Go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care centre, or contact a local crisis or suicide hotline.
Pineapple Support maintains a crisis support directory with international helplines and resources for mental health emergencies. These resources are provided for your convenience, but they do not replace emergency services. We strongly encourage you to use them alongside, not instead of, contacting emergency services when you are in immediate danger.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement, the Website, and any services provided through the Website are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to this agreement, the Website, or the services that is not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in:
– The state or federal courts located in Delaware, or
– Another jurisdiction agreed upon in writing by both parties.
However, Pineapple Support may bring a suit, action, or proceeding against you in your country or state of residence, or in any jurisdiction where a violation of this agreement occurs.
You waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by these courts and to venue in these courts.
Arbitration
At Pineapple Support Society’s sole discretion, we may require you to submit any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement, the Website, or the services to final and binding arbitration. Arbitration will be conducted under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), applying Delaware law.
A single arbitrator will preside over the arbitration. The arbitrator — not any court or agency — will have exclusive authority to resolve all disputes relating to:
– The interpretation or enforceability of this agreement
– The validity or scope of the arbitration requirement
– Any claim that all or part of this agreement is void or voidable
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, arbitration will take place in Delaware, USA.
Each party is responsible for its own arbitration-related costs, including filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees, unless the arbitrator rules otherwise. The arbitrator may grant any relief that would be available in court, except that punitive or exemplary damages may not be awarded, and any damages otherwise limited by this agreement remain limited.
The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver
All claims and disputes arising out of or relating to this agreement, the Website, or the services must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Unless Pineapple Support expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the arbitrator or court may not:
– Consolidate the claims of more than one individual
– Preside over any form of class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding
– Combine your claim with the claims of any other person
By using the Website, you waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, private attorney general action, or any other proceeding in which someone acts in a representative capacity.
Limitation on Time to File Claims
Any claim or cause of action arising out of or relating to this agreement, the Website, or the services must be filed within six (6) months after the claim accrues. After this period, the claim or cause of action is permanently barred.
This limitation applies to all legal actions, including arbitration, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
Waiver and Severability
No waiver by Pineapple Support Society of any term or condition in this agreement shall be considered a further or continuing waiver of that term or condition or a waiver of any other term. Any failure by Pineapple Support to assert a right or enforce a provision under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
If any provision of this agreement is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of the agreement continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
This agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms or policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Pineapple Support Society regarding your use of the Website and the services accessed through it.
This agreement supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, relating to the Website or the services.
Additional terms may apply to specific features, services, or areas of the Website. When provided, those terms are incorporated into this agreement and form part of your overall contract with Pineapple Support.

This Website is operated by Pineapple Support Society, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We welcome your feedback about the Website and our services. However, any suggestions, ideas, proposals, or other feedback you submit will not be treated as confidential. Section Two
Therapists and Therapy Services
The Website enables you to connect with independent mental health professionals, including therapists, counsellors, practitioners, consultants, coaches, or other qualified providers (“Therapists”), for the purpose of accessing mental health support, therapy, wellness services, or related guidance (“Therapy Services”).
Pineapple Support Society does not employ Therapists. All Therapists within the Pineapple Support network are independent professionals who maintain their own professional licences, insurance, and regulatory obligations. Your therapeutic relationship is exclusively between you and the Therapist.
Pineapple Support does not direct, supervise, control, or guarantee the professional judgment, methods, clinical decisions, or quality of the services provided by any Therapist. We may follow up on complaints or concerns raised by users, but we do not oversee or manage clinical care.
We do not make any representation or warranty about:
– A Therapist’s willingness or ability to provide services
– Whether you will find Therapy Services suitable, effective, or appropriate for your needs
– Whether a Therapist is the right fit for you
– The accuracy, quality, or relevance of any information provided during therapy
– We do not control the quality of the Therapists Services and we do not determine whether any Therapist is qualified to provide any specific service as well as whether a Therapist is categorized correctly or matched correctly to you.
– Your relationship relating to the Therapy is strictly with the Therapist. We are not involved in any way with the actual substance of that relationship or any part of the Therapy (whether provided through the Platform or not), and we do not validate or involve in any of the Therapy Services.
Therapy Services provided through Pineapple Support are intended to complement, not replace, in-person mental health care. You should never disregard or delay seeking medical or mental health advice from a qualified clinician because of information obtained through the Website or a Therapist.
Pineapple Support offers a limited number of subsidised therapy sessions per individual. Once your allocated subsidised sessions have been used, you may continue therapy privately with your Therapist if you and the Therapist mutually agree.
Therapists may suspend, decline, or terminate services at their sole professional discretion. Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
– Harassing, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour
– Threatening or violent conduct
– Failure to maintain appropriate boundaries
– Misuse of the platform
– Non-compliance with therapeutic recommendations or policies
– Any circumstance in which the Therapist determines they cannot safely or ethically continue
Neither Pineapple Support nor the Therapist is liable for any claim, damages, or losses resulting from a Therapist’s decision to decline, terminate, or modify services.
Section Three

You acknowledge and agree that while Pineapple Support connects you with independent Therapists, we cannot determine whether Therapy Services or use of the Platform is appropriate for your individual needs. The Platform is a tool for accessing mental health support, not a substitute for professional medical or emergency care.
The Platform is not intended for diagnosis, including determining what medications, treatments, or interventions may be appropriate for you. Any information of that nature should be disregarded if provided through the Platform.

Pineapple Support will not be liable for any loss, damage, or issues arising from your use of Third-Party Content, including any services, products, or information provided by a third party.

You also agree that Pineapple Support is not liable for any claim, action, or dispute brought by a Therapist or Provider relating to your payments, conduct, or interactions with them.
If applicable law does not allow certain limitations, those limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.
